Oh cheesecake, why must you be so difficult? The big, heavy New York Style Cheesecake that I attempted yesterday did not turn out so well. While the flavor is just lovely, the middle did not cook through all the way. I knew this was a possibility because some people warned of that in the reviews, but I wanted to follow the recipe to the letter the first time because I’ve never made a cheesecake before. I think I will cook for an additional hour next time.
( Read more... )I spent the morning downloading and edit plugins for my WordPress account. I have managed to download a few cross-posting tools for LiveJournal, DeadJournal, InsaneJournal, Myspace, Xanga and Vox, so everytime I post in my WordPress account (like now) the posts will automatically show up in all of those journals as well. This is something I have wanted for a very long time, and have finally figured out how to implement it. I can also disable the blogs I don’t want to post to at any time. This is completely awesome!
Until now, LiveJournal has always contained my “main” blog. Those of you reading this from a different platform may want to visit my LJ to read any past posts (not that you are missing much). Note: you will need a LiveJournal account in order to “friend” me and read those posts.
My next step will be in designing a common template for all of those platforms. I’m not sure if this is something I actually want to do. As it is now, I can tell where I am by the design I see.
If any of you actually have a WordPress account, I can walk you through the cross-posting setup if you want. I may write a tutorial for it (for my website) in the future.
